The mission of the Training and Competence Sub-committee is to:
Establish and promote Well Services Best Practice for Training and Competence
Activity
Issues currently being pursued by the Training and Competence Sub-committee are:
Implementation of Shell/BP Minimum Training Requirements for Well Services personnel.
Rebreather Training - need for 'Dry' training refreshers.
Vantage/POB - improve input efficiency and data quality.
Liaison with COGENT on Training/Competence issues eg. SQA continuing support of Competence Assessment.
Representation on COGENT's Standards and Approvals Committee.
