Training and Competence Sub-committee

The mission of the Training and Competence Sub-committee is to:

• Establish and promote Well Services Best Practice for Training and Competence

Activity

Issues currently being pursued by the Training and Competence  Sub-committee are:

• Implementation of Shell/BP Minimum Training Requirements for Well Services personnel.

• Rebreather Training - need for 'Dry' training refreshers.

• Vantage/POB - improve input efficiency and data quality.

• Liaison with COGENT on Training/Competence issues eg. SQA continuing support of Competence Assessment.

• Representation on COGENT's Standards and Approvals Committee.
